Sustainability
Sustainability and ethical behavior are central values of the VOSSKO Code of Conduct. This code defines guidelines that ensure that all employees act responsibly and fairly. It is based on the core labor standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and includes essential principles of daily interaction. VOSSKO places a high value on occupational health and safety to ensure a safe working environment. At the same time, the company is committed to environmental protection through the efficient use of resources and the reduction of CO2 emissions. An energy management system and innovative technologies such as heat recovery help to minimize environmental pollution. VOSSKO's code of conduct is intended to make positive social and ecological contributions through sustainable and ethical action.

ILO Conventions 29 and 105: No forced labor
We do not tolerate forced labor in our company and reject products obtained from forced labor as well as any form of exploitation. We respect the dignity and personal rights of our employees and business partners.
ILO Conventions 87 and 98: Freedom of association and collective bargaining
ILO Convention 111: No discrimination
We guarantee equal opportunities and equal treatment regardless of ethnic origin, skin color, gender, age, disability, ideology, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, social background or political views, insofar as these are based on democratic principles and tolerance towards those who think differently. Our employees are selected, hired and promoted based on their qualifications and abilities. Any kind of discrimination against colleagues is to be avoided; respectful cooperation is an explicit goal.
ILO Conventions 138 and 182: minimum age – no child labor
We do not tolerate child labor in our company. Furthermore, we reject products made from child labor and any form of exploitation. The minimum age for employees and workers is based on the provisions of applicable law.
ILO Convention 155: Occupational Safety and Health
Occupational health and safety is an important issue for us. We ensure a safe and healthy working environment by complying with the laws and regulations on health and safety at work. In particular, managers are required to provide appropriate procedures and protective measures to ensure health and safety at work. The risk of accidents and occupational diseases must be reduced to a minimum.
Compliance with the above criteria is to be verified by recognized certification companies. Before the start of a business relationship and during the corresponding contract period, this must be fully demonstrated.
Sustainability and environmental protection
At VOSSKO, we consider sustainability, environmental protection and energy efficiency to be central pillars of our corporate philosophy and operational practice. Our commitment in these areas goes far beyond the mere fulfillment of legal requirements. We strive for responsible use and procurement of natural resources such as water, energy, materials and land. This holistic approach begins with the selection of our raw materials and extends over the entire life cycle of our products. Social well-being
An important element of our sustainability strategy is to promote the social well-being of our home community. We achieve this by creating jobs, paying taxes and making active contributions to the community. Our support is reflected in monetary donations and donations in kind to local institutions, as well as in the sponsoring of associations and institutions. These measures help to strengthen the local economy and social cohesion.
Reducing resource consumption
VOSSKO has implemented a state-of-the-art energy management system according to DIN EN ISO 50001. This system enables detailed analyses of energy flows in the company and enables an evaluation of the efficiency of particularly energy-intensive plants and activities. Another central aspect of our sustainability efforts is the reduction of CO2 emissions from our production processes. We have developed comprehensive measures to increase energy efficiency and reduce emissions. This includes investing in advanced technologies and implementing energy-saving measures in all areas. One example of how we conserve resources is our heat recovery system. This innovative system uses the waste heat from our cold store to heat our office buildings.
Through this efficient use of energy, we are setting new standards in the area of sustainable business management and demonstrating our commitment to ecological responsibility.
